Martha S. Eskuchen received both her B.S. with Honors in Journalism in 1972 and her J.D. in 1975 from the University of Florida. After passing the Florida Bar in 1975, she began working as an associate attorney in collections litigation with Friedman & Britton, first in Orlando and then in Ft. Lauderdale. In 1982, she became an attorney at law sole practitioner, practicing various areas of law and serving as legal counsel for her father’s title company. Areas of law she still handles include civil litigation, corporate, estate planning and real estate, including 1031 Tax Deferred Exchanges. She currently serves as counsel for the local Regions Bank, Chipola Area Habitat for Humanity and Valuation Adjustment Board for Jackson and Calhoun County.
Martha began her role at Oceanside Title Inc. as company founder and president in 1987. Martha is active in her community, participating in the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce, CPAR (Central Panhandle Association of Realtors) and has been 1st Vice President of the GFWC Marianna Woman’s Club since 2016. And as of 2022, Martha is now President of the Woman’s Club.
Heather E. Monk has been with Oceanside Title, Inc. practically since she was born as she went to the office with her mother, Martha S. Eskuchen, the owner and attorney. Heather learned the title business from the ground up as she began working for the company at age 13, making copies and typing voice transcriptions for the law and title offices. She advanced in her skills over the years, eventually learning every aspect of the title company. She attended Chipola College and graduated with an associate degree earning a minor in Spanish studies. She then attended Troy University majoring in psychology, all while still working part time for Oceanside Title, Inc. She obtained her Title License in 2018 and plans to take over the business when Martha retires.
Rebekah Hilburn was born and raised in Marianna, Florida. She graduated from Marianna High School and Chipola College with her Associates in Political Science in 2019. Amazingly, she graduated with her AA from Chipola College an entire month before walking with her High School graduating class. She then went on to study at Florida State University and graduated with her Bachelor’s in Social Science in 2021. She is currently sending applications to different Law Schools in Florida. She has been working with Oceanside Title, Inc. and the Law Office since her freshman year in High School and has learned the ins and outs of both companies.
